Afghanistan

Kandahar, Kabul, Jalalabad, Asadabad, Gamberi
and finally Herat

 Sept 2009 to Sept 2010:

I have had the opportunity to work on some of the largest DISA networks in Afghanistan. I am currently located in HERAT, working with the US Army Central Command. I am one of a few Sr. domain system administrators assigned to Task Force 236 currently supporting a growing network of thousands of users. Prior to that, Kabul, as a system admin for the US Army Corp of Engineers.
My intial entry into Afghanistan was the Kandahar Air Field (KAF) supporting the 160th Signal Brigate. As a Network Operations Center Systems Administrator I helped support over 25,000 users on classified government networks

I look forward to heading home in Sept of 2010.
